Thank you for your honest comments. I put this photo in because it is such a tiny painting that I felt it looked better from afar. As you know watercolours should be mounted as well as framed but this painting is so tiny the mount looked very wrong so I put it in without. I will try and put a close up view of it in however I can't do much now because the original is sold. Someone must have really liked it because it sold on its first time out in a recent exhibition and a second person also wanted to buy it.

A very small watercolour painting of Southend. A favourite outdoor painting place of mine I am inspired by the big open areas of estuary and sky. I love the light effects on the mud at low tide. It is also a great place for walking and birdwatching.
