Your animals are full of character Lou. I'm not really a "pet" person and dont have any myself but I'm sure the owners of these characters loved your pictures of them. I dare say you are much in demand by the owners of our furry friends. As a new user, dont know if animals are your special subject or whether you do other topics as well. I look forward to seeing more of your work online, and you will find that feedback will be forthcoming, especially if you provide input to others pictures by way of comment or blogging. A lot of people post pet portraits so if you dont get too many comments it is more likely because the artist may be a pet portrait person themselves. Anyway, warmest welcome to POL and we await the next posting.

Thank you so much. Its taken me 30 mins finding out how to thank you (bit of a comp novice) I only started painting in October/November last year. I failed my O Level a hundred years ago and have never bothered trying since till then. I havent been able to show too many people so its great to get a reaction. I look after dogs for a living, so am able to take photos and go from them. I gave some of them away at Christmas to their owners and they did seem to like them. Thanks again for the welcome.

Love this painting Lou, The eyes are stunning. I'm fairly new to Painters OL myself, about a month. You will find a lot of helpful people out there who will comment on your work and advise you how to improve things.
