This is lovely Lorraine, you have painted it very well. Reminds me of Edinburgh Castle lit up at night.

Where is this? Strong painting, yet still intimate, with gentle, glowing colour. I presume you got your qualification without difficulty? If you didn't, it's the examination that's at fault, not you.

This is a project I had to prepare for the Arts Exam Advanced Level in which we had to prepare a project for the same title. This was done in acrylic and various textured pastes were used with the acrylic for impasto which I used in the foreground.
