I had an article about these curious mammals in my wildlife magazine and had just acquired a set of pastel pencils. Pastel seemed to be the perfect medium to capture to fur of the animal and the dark of the forest.

I have enjoyed drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. I love to use watercolours and I prefer natural subjects; landscapes, animals and flowers. I also like to use pastel pencils and pastels.
