Firstly apologies for photo quality but with it being oils I finished very closely to the deadline so had to take a shot before I'd never see it again. It still had some shine from the oils/varnish. Oil on canvas 12 x 14 inches. Previously unpublished on FB, this is one I did last year for the Mary Ann Evans Hospice sunflower competition and it was displayed in ther Co-op window as part of the sunflower trail. It is one of 2. I have no idea where it is now as I donated it to the hospice along with the 'Jar of Joy', which was used this year to publisise the 2013 event by being posted in the window of Abbeygate shopping Centre. The theme is nostalgia. Who can remember the children's TV show, Bill & Ben, the Flowerpot Men, with Weed? Here the 2 are reminiscing about those days when life was so much simpler.
