Angry Birds 300gsm SAA wc CP NOT paper Derwent Aquatone - dry then washed Derwent Art Bars ~~~~~~~~~~ I decided to have another go with the ArtBars and wanted to see what they would do working with other water media. My original intention was to also use black and white ink but this was not necessary. I laid the background in by applying dry Derwent Aquatone and washed it for the background. Then i did the same for the birds. I put in the dark areas with Art Bar and used a wet brush to smooth them down. Then I applied the Art Bars with a damp brush in solid areas and applied them dry over the top directly in jerky sharp movements for the feathers using a flick of the wrists
