COLOURED PENCIL Reference: own. From a visit to Twycross Zoo and an afternoon of sketching, note taking and a lot of photography! IRMA, HIMALAYAN SNOW LEOPARD 12" X 10" Warm White Mountboard Coloured Pencils: CD Pablos, FC Polychromos, a few odd Prismas Tried to show what I can of the pencil strokes although the colours are not so true. I've had to fiddle with the final photo to get them as close as possible to real, which has taken away some of the sharpness. There is a shine top right from the light coming in from the window too. That area had been burnished. If you check back through the WIP you can see that there are warmer yellow/cream on the side of the face and brown shadows on the fur under her chin and around her shoulder. So difficult to get the colours right as the more I fiddled the more clarity I lost in the photo until it looked more 'false'.
