What a shame you got pushed off the front page so quickly. This is a very pretty detailed illustration. Gosh I wonder where you live. Our snowdrops are barely out of the ground yet and no sign at all of the crocuses. Thank you for the glimpse of spring.

Lovely illustration, nice spring colours.

Here the snowdrops are opening & the yellow crocuses are starting to shine. Spring at last!. Beautiful, delicate washes in your painting. I know what you mean too. The fewer books I read, feels like the more i knew about watercolour strangely, experimenting is where you really learn! best wishes, colleen

A lovely light painting with a feel good factor!

Again Maureen beautiful I like the bulbs showing...I have been on your gallery before I can't understand why i didn't see these...so glad I did though

This is one of my very earliest paintings, lovingly and laboriously worked in as great detail as I was able at the time. Not having had any advice from anyone was perhaps a good thing. I still have the painting and just love it. The first Crocus is just about to open its cup at the front of the house. Company for the Snowdrops.
