This just popped up in front of me. What beautiful colours. I used to live here, well a couple of miles away from Southwell. Lovely place, very picturesque, my daughter went to Southwell Minster school. I really like the painting with the sun shining through the window, looks very typical of this cosy, friendly place. Well done.

This, I am told, is the interior of a coffee shop in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. I have to believe it as the photographer who gave me the print from which I painted it, told me so. It was half way through the week on a painting holiday and it was raining so we were confined to indoors. I have yet to find the place but Southwell is a fair distance from home and we don't get out that way too often. It was just a quickie, hope you like it. Oops' sorry, I forgot to say, it's a Watercolour 15"x 11" on Bockingford 140lb Not.
