Reminds me of sitting up a mountain with my two retrievers, one of which is also dead now and greatly missed. I feel for Rolfe. This will be a wonderful memory for him. Lovely painting.

Agree with all above my brother lives about 30 minutes drive out of Aberdeen and the last time we visited it was winter and although cold it was beautiful...this is lovely the heather one of my favourites and so wel painted Rolfe must love this...it's awful when they go isn't it

Water colour 10"x 8" painted from a photograph of Rolfe & dogs on a mountain in Scotland in winter. The dogs both died very close together in time and their master misses them desperately so asked me to paint this.
