Love the way the clouds are painted. The varied direction of knife strokes really makes them full of lively movement. Great painting.

Acrylic on Stretched Canvas, 24 x 30". This was a larger version of a study that I did in one of those BYOB painting classes with Sarah LaPierre. Going big with palette knife is always a challenge as I never seem to mix enough paint for a color. However, the varying colors seem to work. Heavy body acrylics and heavy gel medium were used to create the texture.
