The beautiful flowers on these trees have now fallen but pleased I was able to capture their beauty before the branches were bare. I created this painting outdoors on location, after taking some photos the previous week while it was in full bloom. Unfortunately, many of the petals had fallen when I returned to paint a week later. So after depicting the main scene on my canvas while at the location, I referred to the photos upon my return home, to capture the blossom.
