Ah, my favourite little birds which used to be so common round here and sadly not so nowadays. I did spot one though only this morning chirping in the rain perched on top of the holly bush. Made my day! Your sparrows splashing is a really lovely painting. As Sylvia says, you've caught their character so well.

We have resident sparrows around our guttering- no shortage here! Yours are lovely, cheeky and chirpy little birds.
