isle of harris

Finally found my way into your gallery...I like what I see in it.

Lovely blue sea and white sand. Visited quite a few of the islands but haven't found our way to Harris yet but I believe on a sunny day the colours are exactly as you have depicted them here.Well done.

Lovely calm painting. The use of vibrant colour in the sea stops the painting from lacking depth, which can happen in such a simple subject. Very good recession in the distance with the use of misty blues and purples. Excellent sand and the way you have feathered the sand and water together. Well done!
