What an interesting bridge! What is the castle in the background. I think you have shown the white bridge really well. What is is made of, or is it painted white? Very nice foliage and flowers in the background. Well done.

do you know thea i wasn't sure whether it was painted or not, but i took a run out to it this afternoon ,the towers are yellow sandstone and the arches & fretwork are metal, all painted white but it is being done up at the moment and they are leaving the towers cleaned sandstone & painting the metal white. the castle is eglinton castle & is no longer there, i painted the scene from an old etching circa 1876
