Very good painting Liezel, much more difficult than it looks to do convincingly. There's an artist from an older generation called Ralph Thompson who painted wildlife in a loose fashion similar to Hazel. I love his work and have a small booklet of his called "Animals through the eyes of an artist" that I inherited from my father in law. I think you would enjoy his work if you looked him up on the net, as your painting has that similar look.

Inspired by Hazel Soan’s “Conserve the Light” article in the April issue of The Artist, I decided to give this cheetah a go in watercolour. Limited palette of only yellow ochre, burnt sienna, ultramarine and sepia for the spots.
