This is my favourite of your posted pictures- and for what you call a quick sketch you have really captured the essence of racing- the flared nostrils and laid back ears of the horse indicate the effort of the gallop, and the suggestion of the rider hunched over the horse's neck show he is urging his mount to even more ! Love it.
