I didn't get everything in on my description. Here's the rest...I considered buying only transparent colours, but then I'd miss the wonderfully vivid cad colours (I like bright colour). So I have to accept some reworking with the pen will be necessary. In art, as in life, there are no true short cuts.

Yes I see what you mean about the cad colours as they are opaque but they do have their uses, I like them too. These expressions are priceless Lew, the girl and the onion seller especially:))

I think it's worked well Lewis and its different.😀

Just keep bring ing out these wonderful images Lew. Love the Garlic guy..(-:

They are all super and I love the flying pig!

Indeed there are no short cuts! Time in the brush/pencil/whatever is the only way! These are really striking images, Lewis

A successful experiment, I'd say, Lewis. I can see the difference in the arms, how one is brighter than the other, so there's something to take from that. The characters are. of course, quite brilliant. Bri

I love the vibrancy the background bring to the fabulous figures

Super characters as usual, Lewis.

Trying different ways to use the pen and the wash, sometimes wash first, sometimes pen...all ends up looking the same.
