Loved your opera series, Lewis. What next? Looking forward to seeing it.

So this is" the grand finale" Lewis, a brilliant way to end your series, well done 😃

It has been a great series. Thank you.

Great stuff Lewis, not only do I like the art but also the additional information that you supply.

I must echo the other comments, Lewis. Great stuff and highly entertaining all round. Brian

I've loved all your opera pieces Lewis, this again is excellent. I must admit I've never known the origin of the phrase but I like the Al Capone one best!

Same from me Lew. Great as ever.

Great fun and great drawing!

By she's got some bellows on her Lew! But cute nose 🤗🤗 great series!

Nice one, Lewis. Looking forward to your next offering :)

will have to revisit those old Opera records stashed away "somewhere" - they won't be the same after this series .

Good one to end the series with - look forward to your next postings, Lewis

I had to end this with this one. I looked up the origins of this phrase. As you can imagine, there are several, but Brunhilda seems to get the most votes. Anyway, that's enough of that, thanks to all who've looked and especially to those who commented.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
