😂😂😂. Very funny , Lewis. I look forward to meeting your characters every morning. Your comments are as funny as your art. Brilliant.

Super Lewis. Strange, but not when MOZART does it!

So funny Lewis, I laughed so much when I saw this so thank you for entertaining me once again with your wonderful humour.

Fantastic work as usual.

Looking forward to what's next Lew. Never cease to amaze or amuse. Good work.

It's not over until the fat lady paints, Lewis!

Hilarious Lewis, your fertile imagination coupled with superb drawing skills produces work of such consistent quality.

Superbly funny, Lewis. I love opera, was brought up on it, literally and figuratively, and sing along-a Verdi et al...and cry...and...but this now, ah ha...explains it all!!!

That mask completely fooled me Lewis!

Thanks as always for your great feedback. Perhaps I should say I'm not knocking Opera, I'm a great fan of the music, it's just the unavoidable quirky stuff that appeals to me. I'm glad you admitted you were fooled by the mask, Frank...I bet everyone was. (as if...)

Wonderful character - great imagination - you should write books too..

I like a lot of classical music but find Opera a bit strange, so I thought I'd do something about the bits I find odd. This is pen and wash, and the layout is done in photoshop because my lettering is dreadful. It was a bit hurried because I don't enjoy this hot spell we're going through...it makes me lazy.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
