Thank you for your lovely comments. It was very cold and this was the last chance for the swimmers to use the beach huts for brewing hot drinks and drying off....the next day the huts were to be removed to winter storage. But they swim on at another beach, changing bravely in the lee of the breakwater and fortifying themselves with thermoses of hot chocolate and coffee. I think I prefer to be in my studio :).

This painting has now been sold to raise funds for our local sea-water pool; it was badly damaged during the last two storms.
