It's worked well Les, certainly captured the vibrancy of Venice, one of my favourite places, well painted in oil I presume.

This is one of my larger images at 27.5 inch x 39 inch. I wanted to experiment with warm colours and contrast. Venice in many ways is the ideal vehicle to do this. As with any of my paintings when I look back on them I can pick out faults but I also recall the pure enjoyment of letting myself be free with colour and allowing the image to evolve.
