Really like the colours in this painting.

Strong & bold in your terrific style, Les. -Like your work.

Fabulous rich colours and great composition.

Love the boldness of colours in this Les. What medium are you using?

Thanks Frank. The main part of the painting is in water soluble oils. I generally start with an acrylic base coat and paint on top of that. More recently I have started to use acrylic to start building the structure of images, rather than just a base coat before finishing off with oils and glazes. You just have to remember you can put oil an top of acrylic but not the other way around due to one being water based and the oil based. Oil paint always gives you a more vibrant finish in my opinion.

Well your method certainly works well Les.
