Clever colours , clever recession. A clever and attractive painting. my assumption is it is in acrylic. But what size is it Lew ?

Thanks Sylvia for your kind words. The image is 18 x 24 Inch and painted in water soluble oils. I moved from acrylics because the intensity of colour tended to fade as the paint dried. with oils the vibrancy remains.

Really good colour. I like this because apart from a few warm/cool colour anchors such as the red flowers many colours are in opposition to the idea of recession. This makes the image less representational and more thought-provoking. Stunning painting Les!
