This is drawn from one of many photos taken by my son and his girlfriend whilst travelling the world for a year. This parrot was being cared for at a wildlife Sanctuary in Bolivia. They were volunteering at this sanctuary for a month which they both loved. I really enjoyed doing this picture in pastels as it enabled me to show off the bright and beautiful feathers.
