Wonderful painting, Lesley. Just back from walking by the Solent in high wind and heavy rain today and have had to put the heating on. This picture reminds me what summer is meant to be like!

At the moment I'm trying hard to speed up my painting, for a plein air painting trip in October with some seriously talented plein air artists. I understand smaller formats will be best for plein air, painting fast with changing light.
