Nice painting which has plenty of atmosphere and detail where all the branches add to the picture. The long fence across the field gives perspective to the church in the distance, but I feel the spire is a little close to the thick branch coming in from the right. I think your sky colour comes is terrific.

This is a lovely painting Anne. I think that the limited palette of colours works very well. Just be careful to be constant with the light direction as the sunlit left hand church wall doesn't read with the strong shadows in the foreground which indicate that the light is coming from the right. Your brushwork is excellent, especially on the trees. Well done and best wishes from Rosemary Hale
