I know the project in the Leisure painter was for pastels but i have yet to venture forward with them - plus i don`t have any - so my painting is done in Acrylics, my usual medium. I have thoroughly enjoyed painting Max, as this is exactly my line of work (I do private pet portrait commissions mostly of dogs) and it has been refreshing to work on one that was for my pleasure and not to someone else's expectation of me. Because of this Max has worked well as i have been more free with my brush work. By Vicky Tucker
