Len Lewis sent in his version of this month's painting project saying: 'I found the photograph extremely atmospheric and mysterious and felt I had to paint it as I saw it, maybe a bit heavy on the green. It was done with a 1" wash/stippling brush for all except the trunks and tree branches which were done with a rigger. It is done as you probably notice on an A4 sketchpad 180gsm cartridge paper.'
