Mark Highfield sent in his version of this month's project saying: 'Woodland scenes are amongst my favourites, and this project allowed me to exploit the cool and warm greens of the tree canopies. I used Lemon yellow and Cobalt Blue for the background foliage, with slightly stronger mixes of these colours for the middle distance, The foreground foliage lent itself to a stippling technique. My use of purple shadow and light red tint to the footpath gave harmony to my painting.'
