The Folly by Leisure Painter

This is very nice. I like the relaxed feel of this version and the addition of the people is a good decision. I am actually having a go at this one, but the results may or may not appear on the gallery!

Certainly a lively and summery work. The inclusion of the people help this and make the viewer think about the scene continuing through the arch.

Thanks Thea and James for your comments, the scene has a 'quirky' quality about it, so i think it's worth a try Thea.

I like the areas of light in the foliage, and I wouldn't have thought of putting people in - they really help give it scale and atmosphere.
