Jill O'Callaghan sent in her rose saying: 'Roses would not be my first choice of flower, as I find them really difficult to draw, but using the grid certainly made it achievable, as I was using watercolour paper, I didn't want to draw a grid on it, so came up with the idea of masking tape and black thread, it worked'
