Mike Smith sent in his project saying: 'This project immediately caught my attention but proved to be a challenge in getting started: producing a realistic sketch was my issue. The other difficulty was getting the colour that I wanted: mixing paint for me is never easy. Trial and error on a spare piece of paper produced a reasonable result that compensated for my frustrations. I'm clearly pleased with the end result though as I have framed the picture'
