Alan Bickley sent in his version of Richard's project from the July issue of Leisure Painter saying: 'I always find myself attracted to fast-running water, rapidly cascading over rocks covered with green mosses, so it was inevitable that I had to give Richard's project my best shot. As always, I like to do my own take on these projects and this time I opted for a landscape scene with the waterfall as the central point of interest. Primed Arches 300lb watercolour paper was the support that I opted for on this occasion, and I used a small selection of oil paints used quite thickly. A very enjoyable half hour of painting, looking forward to next month's project already...'
