I couldn’t resist painting a flamingo, they are such extraordinary looking creatures. I photographed some flamingoes a couple of years ago at an animal park and since then I have had it in mind to paint at least one flamingo. I don't think it'll be my last. Oil on canvas 22 x 11.5cm

I set myself a challenge to paint a small picture for each letter of the alphabet. Not every painting I've done since then has been part of this 'alphabet' but I enjoy coming back to this series in between other projects. I'd love to know what you think of my work or if you have a favourite.
