We might have had a similar problem - I had a retinal detachment, and now bore people with a "don't do that!" when I see them rubbing their eyes. Pleased to read of your recovery so far, and like the effect you've got in this one with quite thin paint. Looks as though we were both very lucky with great eye surgeons.
