Love the effect the razor blade scraping has produced - a novel idea which has worked well. Great painting with your usual skill with colour and light.

The first time I heard of Staithes was in one of the monthly challenges. Since then I have painted lots of scenes of it. This one is a small study of the entrance to the little estuary. I moved the boat closer to the buildings to improve the composition and used a razor blade to scratch out some highlights. Thanks for taking a peek it's 10 by 18ins bockingford and Van Goch paints.
