This is great! i really feel the movment. ive used my photography to capture movment is street scenes, you have inspired me to try and paint them now!

Very nice painting Steven of a complex subject. i always seem to get the perspective wrong with people sitting at tables, this looks 'right'.

It does not matter if it's messy Steven - you've captured the bustle of the place. Painting people is difficult but you've done them well.

I've very much enjoyed looking through some of Steven's gallery. Huge sense of enjoyment as well as liveliness comes through, as well as that extra 'something' which we all strive for!

have tried to capture the hustle and bustle of the Brighton lanes many times but have always been dissapointed! This time I have used a different approach using a large brush and the rigger to pick out the details. This is my second attempt, in the first I quickly lost the perspective in the "crude" brush strokes. Although the results are a bit messy I think it captures the movement and atmosphere better than my earlier attempts. Watercolour 16 by 12 approx.
