He looks quite skittish and playful - a bit of a dog amongst lions.... Very well done, just enough detail, not a bit too much.

Thank you Robert, your comments much valued. I did try really hard to discipline myself and stop before I added a stroke too many, so I'm really glad you feel that I achieved this. My daughter describes him as a bit of a "teenager", I think she's right!

Wow! What a handsome fellow- bet he's popular with the "girls!" No joking apart it's a lively painting which shows the beauty of these animals.

I don't know about the "girls" Avie, but I'm a little in love with him and although I've been asked to part with him, he's living with me for the moment. Thanks for your comment. :~))
