You had a little bit of trouble with back-runs here, didn't you? All the same, this is an evocative painting of a very difficult subject. Ensure that your subsequent washes, if applied wet in wet, are stronger, ie carry more colour, than the ones previously applied: and if aiming for wet on dry, make sure that the preceding wash really IS dry, ie that the sheen has gone off it before you apply fresh colour. Having said all of which, we all get caulfiflowers sometimes: they can even help! What has happened with the golden peak is that the wet paint has picked up some of the green, and become a little sullied: the wash also comes to a rather abrupt halt on the right side of the peak. But I wouldn't be going on like this if I didn't think you have a good painting here - keep at it.

I am glad that inspite of all the setbacks, there was something worth getting the attention, I agree with all your suggestions and will try to incorporate them in my later works.I am quite an amateur in watercolours and a beginner at large. Your comments would definitely benefit me.

One of the popular mountains of the region. Tried to capture the golden peaks during sunset.
