Great sense of space and distance Lesley, glad the Heather was still in flower, gives a shot of colour to an otherwise grassy landscape.

Thankyou Fiona, I was surprised to see the heather, as the area was very yellowish,with shades of deep red. Almost like the a cornfield colour. Late August, so not autumn colours.

Most southernly point of Scotland with heather, what a view, can see port william in the mist. Lovely place to end this tour. I'm still here in mind and paintings. I've used watercolor on flamboyant paper, to create the mist in the background.
