Castle stone Rigg. through the mist of time

Beautifully done, Lesley. Love the textures on the rocks.

This is really lovely Lesley. I especially love the stone circle and the rays of light over the mountains. You have managed your greens extraordinarily well, as they can be a troublesome factor in landscapes

This one looks even more mystical with the rays of light Lesley. I like the way you have painted the hills in this one and also the lovely textures in the grass and stones.

Thankyou Ellen, the stone stand out more in the painting, unfortunately my camera doesn't agree. Lol

Thankyou for your encouragement, I was thinking the light needed to be brighter, but I left it as is thinking less is enough.

Thankyou so much Fiona, my hubby, was standing in that light, I didn't paint him. It was very mysterious. Made me smile.

Inspirer by my lasted visit to Keswick, I've used a palette knife to create those mysterious stones, and add texture to the hills and grass area, trying hard not to use too much green, as this area is very green, even behind that mist, Acrylics on canvas board
