I think this is super, Lesley, so much going on and superbly understated! I recognise that tea garden! I'll have the scone and clotted cream please!!!

Our favourite tea garden in Boscastle, I feel this reconstructed one represents the original before the flood very well,, including the shape of the roof. I sketched this on a very dull day early may. The choughs also took my attention, with large red beaks and feet. You think they are crows or ravens, but not they are Cornish choughs(cuffs) classes as endangered by becoming extinct species a few years ago.Watercolour A4 bockingford watercolour paper.
