Bought this shire horse for the purpose of painting. It took me back to childhood memories, my parents had one,it was so precious, a do not touch item...how things have change...I've used polycromos pencils on white pastel mat.i thought it would be nice to paint my own impression, mum's had a cart with barrels in.... My last attempt of a shire horse looked more like a very sort donkey. How thing change in a few years..and yes I am rather pleased with this one..
