This is my first attempt at a horse in soft pastel. What particularly interested me was the challenge of painting a white coat and trying to 'see' the shadows and different greys in it. I also loved the long, graceful head of the horse (based on a photo) and bone structure. I shall definitely be trying to paint more horses.
