View across Rocky Beach-Trevone

I know what you mean Karen, but you’ll find everyone complimentary about your paintings, especially if you continue like this! I go to Trevone every September with my group and we’ve painted from this spot so I know the view well, and there are a few places to tuck yourself away. Having said that I’m nervous of painting “at home” but it’s really worth the effort if you can, and it will improve your painting further to be out there in the elements. I love the way you’ve painted the rocky area in the foreground.

Don't shy away from painting outdoors, it is brilliant and you will learn a lot. To start with, if you are nervous, find a spot where you have your back to a building or wall or similar so no one can get behind you. It is obvious from this painting you have no need to be nervous, it is excellent.

A lovely view of the slate-like rock formation with pools jettying in from the sea at Trevone, nice escarpment around the cliff too!
