Karyn, whhat a lovely scene and so very well done with no colour but yet full of atmosphere and mood! Also, reading your bio made me chuckle because I too, get paralyzed when I even think of painting in the public so I too rely greatly on photos.

Thank you. I enjoyed doing this. I like the control I get with the pencil. I find mark making easier with the pencil than the brush!! My perspective is a bit off in places but hey ho, will have to keep practising.

Having stayed in Trevone this is instantly recognisable- especially the “hole” in the far headland! Also your painting of the harvest fields. You have some excellent paintings: well done and keep up the good work!

A lot of different effects created with the pencil, which is more versatile than people give it credit for, and a fine example of a landscape sketch, very well done.
