Borrowed light by Julie Wilson

This is a beauty, really good Julie

Good posts Julie, I like this one in particular.

Excellent set of pictures Julie.

I like this very much skilled use of the medium dark and light just right… it reminds me of the forest I inhabit with a dog most days.

Three good postings of which this one is slightly my favourite

Thank you so so much. Lesley, I get that - I pretty much inhabit this wood too with my dog. Long live the dog-walking forest-dwellers :)

I like that I am walking into the light, and you've created softness and sharpness.

Beautiful

Beautiful use of charcoal ! ✨ You’ve wonderfully captured the play of light and shadow filtering through the trees. This piece has an incredible forest depth that practically invites the viewer to take a walk right into it. Great work ! 🌲

Charcoal on cradled wooden panel. Another scene from my favourite woods, which I've previously painted in pastels too.
