What can be more evocative than a memory of a warm summer's day taking a long leisurely stroll through the flower gardens of an English country estate. That is the feeling I've tried to create in this painting, a memory of summer gone and a reminder of summers to come. I'll leave you to decide if I have succeeded. Was delighted to learn this painting sold at a recent exhibition in South Gloucestershire.
