Portrait of a Bedouin woman who came to my tent in the desert

Mick, you have the most extraordinary luck, was she after a cup of sugar? She looks as though she is after something...... Love how you have described the richness of the red material of her headdress, it looks lush.

Thanks Fiona. To be honest, I have exaggerated this time, in fact, it didn’t happen. I got carried away.

Fabulous painting Michael...but she doesn't look too pleased to see you.

Thanks Willie. Not many people are.

Ha ha! What a dream of a picture, brilliant painting, love it!

You get all the luck. I never experienced anything like this when I was in the desert. Like the painting very much, the lush exotic color, and the intriguing expression.

Thanks Thalia and Lewis.

Love the way you have captured such a look of amazement in her eyes and the rich, reds of her hijab Michael. You certainly get around, even if it’s only in your head.

Good portrait and good story, Michael. I hope you spent a good night!

Gorgeous portrait Michael and I like the spontaneous style of this.

Oh well, you sound disappointed Mick. I thought about you the other day and your interest in social history/crime etc. I’ve just finished reading a book called No Mean City, you may already have read it. It’s about life in the tenement slums in Glasgow after the war. A brilliant read.

Thank you Cesar, Dorothea and Fiona. I’m not too disappointed Fiona, in fact, it’s starting to get a bit boring nowadays. Thanks for the book title and I’ll have a look for it.

Really like this. Great colour and amazed expression.

Thanks for encouragement Sandra.

A striking image Michael

Eye catching Michael, as you usually make them.

Thanks John. Just like yourself.
